Ellie developed her love of photography at an early age from mentors such as her father, who had a dark room in his home, Stephen Wicks, her high school photography instructor, and Craig Litten, who photographed her wedding and became an inspiration and adviser. Ellie's own work began in the city of Boston, with her first experiences in the dark room at the age of 12. Ellie went on to cultivate her growing passion for the art form through photojournalism courses at Boston University as well as in her travels and spare time. She has studied under professional photojournalists as well as portrait and editorial photographers. Her current work focuses on candid portraits, newborn/baby sessions and weddings. She is also available for headshots, commercial work and other photography needs.
